Also, that Ambrose was evidently adopted by Sarah's 2nd husband, John CROFTON of Lisadorne Hous e (Lissadorn Castle per Burke), his surname being changed to CROFTON. The above scenario appears very credible though not, to my knowledge, giv en in any of Burke's charts. Could you please tell me the source of your data ? P.S. Re Ambrose jnr. (who died 10 Feb 1783) you have the place as Dublin , Co. Cork (sic) - a typo ? (As far as I know there has never been a 2nd Dublin).
