Post, on page 14B: Burn (Indexed as Burn but appears to be Brun to me - mbt), Hans J. , em ployee, 50, M-1, born Norway as were parents, emigrated 1876, Na., watchm an, asylum Letitia, employee, 44, M-1, 1 child, 1 living, born Ks., parents bo rn Ireland, Watchwoman, asylum. 1910 Census Osawatomie, Miami Co., Kansas, Ward 1, ED 132, Series: T624 , Roll: 447, Part: 2, Page: 65A, Kansas State Insane Asylum, enumerate d 8 April 1910 by Geo. M. Martin, on page 3A: Brun, Louise, boarder, 18, female, single, born Kansas, father born No rway, mother born Ireland. (living at the Charley D. Power household. N o occupation is listed. Had earlier sent the 1930 census at which time they were in Montgomery Co ., Kansas. This family obviously moved often.....Osawatomie country i s several counties away from Montgomery Co. Actually it is on the Oklaho ma border!!!! I have checked both Oswatomie Co. and Montgomery countie s for the 1920 census and they appear in neither of those places. Can' t seem to find any other traces of this family at present. Think that it is interesting that they were both working in 1910 and Lo uise was living as a roomer while her parents lived at the insane asylum. ..(I think). Does the Charley D. Power household mean anything to anyon e??
