Notes: Robert Knight was born on January 14th 1714 at Hannington, Northamptonshir e, he was Christened at Hannington on November 14th that same year. Robert 's Parents died when he was young and he was brought up with his Siblin gs in Walgrave by his uncle. Robert was a Farmer and Butcher. He was the main beneficiary in the will of his uncle Richard who died in 1 753, inheriting land and houses in Walgrave. Robert married Elizabeth Andr ew on February 13th 1742 together they had 13 Children. Robert Died on M ay 20th 1798 at Walgrave, Northamptonshire aged 83yrs. In his own wi ll he left land in Walgrave to his eldest son Robert; land known as "Pot B ridge Meadows" to son James; and the butcher's shop and 'fashing hous e' to son John.
