Elizabeth Ann Cox  b.ABT 1854 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, d.1865 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, Stephen Deacon Cox  b.ABT 1856 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, d.1885 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, Mary Ann Cox  b.1861 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, m.1885 at Scaldwell, Northamptonshire, 4 Children.

Notes: Sarah Ann Deacon was born on April 21st 1820 at Walgrave, Northhamotnshi re to Stephen & Elizabeth Deacon. She was Baptised in Earls Barton Bapti st Church. In 1841(census) 20yr old Sarah appears to be living in Holcot t, she is listed as a Housekeeper & has two young Servants living with he r, she is most likely living in lodging accomidation on the farm of Jam es Knight who may have been a relative and working for him. Sarah marri ed Thomas Cox on March 6th 1850 at Walgrave, Northamptonshire. In 1851(cen sus) Sarah is 30yrs old she is living with her Husband Thomas at the ho me of his widowed Mother in Scaldwell, Northamptonshire. also at the hou se are Thomas' three sisters. By 1861(census) the couple had two childr en and the family was living in their own home in Scaldwell. They have a f arm of 150acres & employ five men & two boys. They also have two Servan ts living with them. Still on the same 160 acre farm in 1871(census) wi th husband, son and younger daughter Mary Ann. (Eldest daughter Elizabe th does not appear on the 1871 census and may possibly have married or di ed young). In 1881 (census) Sarah and her son Stephen are visitors at Up Street, Shar nbrook, Bedfordshire, the home of Rebecca Ward. Her husband and daughter a re at home in Scaldwell, Northants. It seems likely that Rebecca was a sis ter to Sarah's stepmother, Sophia Ward, who had died four years previousl y. Sarah died (3b,101) in the fourth quarter of 1881 aged 61.
