Notes: George Whitmore Buckby was born between January & March of 1876 (7a,531 ), he was the son of Edward & Ann Buckby and was born in Grantham, Lincoln shire. In 1881 (census) George is living at 7, Wharf Road, Spittlegate, Li ncoln with his parents and six siblings, he is 5yrs old and is at schoo l. In 1891(census)16yr old George is now a tailor's aprentice, he is livi ng at 15, London Road, Spittlegate, the home of his employer, Master Tail or Frederick Thompson and his family. Between April & June of 1897 Geor ge marries Mary Ann Peck. And in 1901(census) George is now Tailor in h is own right and is living with his wife and two children at 128, Newga te Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
