In 1851 (census) 11mth old Emma is livi ng with her parents & Siblings in Helpston and in 1861 (census) Emma is n ow 11yrs old she is living at Maxey Road, Helpston with her parents & silb ings, she is attending school. By 1871 ( census) Emma is now 20yrs old s he is still living with her parents & Siblings, she is a Paper Cutte r. In Emma Married James Brown in Helpston, between July & September of 18 73 and it appears her younger Sister Elizabeth married at the same tim e. In 1881 (census) Emma is 30yrs old and still living in Helpston, s he is now living in the centre of the Village with her husband & Childre n. Whilst Emma is not working at this time her husband is still worki ng at the Paper Mill. By 1891 (census) Emma is now 41 and has return ed to Work and is a Paper Hand at the Mill, her Husband is also still work ing there. The family are all living at 3 station Road, Helpston. By 19 01 (census) Emma is 53yrs and is no longer working at the Papermill the f amily are still living on Station Road in Helpston, but only two sons rema in at home, the family also have a lodger living with them.
