Notes: Samuel Gammidge was born in 1821 at Walgrave, Northamptonshire, In 1841(ce nsus) Sanuel is 20yrs old, he is living with his Parents & Siblings in Wal grave, he is working as a Shoemaker. Samuel married Elizabeth Deacon in 18 48 at Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. In 1851(census) Samuel is 30yrs ol d, he is living in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, with his wif e. He is a Shoemaker. In 1861(census) Samuel is 40yrs old, he & his Wife h ave moved back to Walgrave, they now have three children, Samuel is sti ll a Shoemaker. By 1871(census) the family had moved to Leicester Road, Th urmaston, Leicestershire. Samuel is still working as a Shoemaker. He appea rs to be missing from the 1881(census) but in 1891(census) Samuel is lodgi ng in Walgrave, he is listed as a Shoemaker & Local Preacher. By 1901(cens us) Samuel now 80yrs old, he is living at Fossil Road, Loughborough, Leice stershire with two Grandaughters, he is now a fulltime Baptist Minister. S amuel Died in 1907 At Loughborough aged 86yrs.
