Notes: Elizabeth Ann Gammidge was born in Walgrave, Northamptonshire to Samu el & Catherine Gammidge. In 1861(census) Elizabeth is 9yrs old, she is liv ing in Walgrave with her parents and two siblings, she is attending schoo l. In 1871(census) Elizabeth is now 19yrs old, she is living & worki ng at Offa Green, Great Bowden Leicestershire, as one of three General Ser vants for the family of John Chater, a Farmer who ran a 420 acre farm. S he seems to disappear from the 1881 census but Married in Joseph Hickson 1 887 at Leicester, Leicestershire. it appears the Elizabeth was was Joseph 's Second wife as in 1891(census) Elizabeth now 39yrs old, is livi ng at 60 St Leonard's Road, Knighton, Leicestershire with her Husband, 4 S tepchildren, Two sons & a newborn Daughter, the Nurse is still reside nt at the house too. And by 1901( census) Elizabeth is 49yrs old, she h as had another Daughter by this time and is living with her family at 58 H artop Road, Knighton, Leicester.
