Notes: Elijah Barritt was born on 21st January 1828 in Walgrave, Northamptonshir e, he was the son of Samuel & Jemima Barritt. Elijah was christened aged 3 yrs old on 27/9/1833 at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Kettering, Northamp tonshire. In 1841(census) Elijah is 12yrs old and living with his paren ts in Walgrave, later that same year on May 21st May 1841 he is Baptise d, possibly as a Baptist as it appears the whole family were at that tim e. By 1851 (census) Elijah has become as Shoe Maker and is living with h is parents in Walgrave. In 1861 (census) Elijah is still a shoemaker & liv ing with his parents in Walgrave but he appears to have been Invalid ed at work, he died later that year aged 33yrs.
