Notes: Annie Maria Herring was born in March 1823 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, h er parents were William & Elizabeth Herring. Anne was christened on the 12 th March 1823, at the Abbey in St Albans. In 1841 aged 18yrs living at Bur nt Oak, Little Stanmore, Middlesex with parents & Siblings, she has no occ upation. In 1951 Anne is 28yrs and living at Manor House, Clapham with par ents, siblings & 20yr old servant Jane White, she is a School Mistress. An nie Married Felix Johnson at Lambeth in 1854 and in 1861(census) Annie (kn own as Anne) is 37yrs old, she is living with her Husband, Baby Daught er & Anne young (her Neice) who is visiting her, at the Fulham Union Workh ouse. Anne's Husband is Master of the Workhouse, she is listed as Master 's Wife implying she may not have been the Matron. Anne's Husband Died Bet ween 1861 & 1866 as she Married Henry Dyne in 1866 at Lambeth, Londo n. In 1871 (census) Anne is now 48yrs old, she & her Daughters (who has ta ken on their Stepfather's Surname) are living with Anne's new Husband, h er Stepchildren, Sister in Law & Servant. They are all living at the Stati on House, Dover Railway Station, Beach St, Dover, Kent, where Anne's Husba nd is the Station Master. In 1881(census) Anne is now 58yrs old, she & h er Son & Daughter are still living at the Station House with her Husba nd & his remaining Children. By 1891(census) Mary is now again Widdowed, s he has moved to 33 Crofton Road, Camberwell, London with two of her Sister 's, Brother in Law & Niece, they all appear to be liviing in their own Mea ns. By 1901(census) Anne now 78yrs, she is now living at 65 Station Roa d, Camberwell with her Sister Mary, Mary's Daughter, Niece & Grand Neic e, Anne's other Sister Ellen is also visiting the Family. Anne Died in 19 10 at Wanstead aged 87yrs.
