Notes: It seems very likely that Joseph had been previously married. In the 18 81 census there is a Joseph Watson of the right age and born in the rig ht place with the right job living with his wife and six children at 5, Le dgers Yard, Radford, Nottingham. The three oldest children had all been bo rn in Nottingham and the youngest two in Radford. The fourth child, Rut h, 6 at the time of the census, has her birth place as the United States! If this is indeed the right Joseph, he either divorced or became a widow er between 1881 and 1884 by which time he was married to Emily. The 1901 census has the couple with their two daughters living at 13, Rusk in Street, Nottingham. He is a Journeyman baker. In 1911(Census) Jose ph is 65yrs old and living with his Wife at 31 COBDEN STREET RADFORD NOTTI NGHAM they have been married for 14yrs, he is a Master Baker.
