Notes: Mary Ann Litchfield (known as Annie) was born around in 1850 at Desboug h, Northamptonshire. In 1861 listed as Ann she is 11yrs old and at schoo l, she is living with her parents & younger sister in Hannington, her fath er is a local Publican. In 1871 she is 21yrs old and living at her fathe rs Pub in Hannington, she is working as a Dressmaker. Mary Married Alfr ed Knight at Walgrave in 1872 and settled there. In 1881(census) Ann ie is married & living with her husband she has three children, her young er Brother Henry is also living with her as he is aprenticed to her husba nd as well as Lucy Blundell who is the family's general servant. In 1891( census) the family are living in Walgrave & the Eldest son is now assisti ng in the family business, later that year her Daughter drowns hersel f. In 1901(census) she is still living with her husband & two sons in Wal grave. In 1911(Census) Annie is 61yrs old she is living with his Her Husba nd at ELM HURST WALGRAVE NORTHAMPTON.
