Notes: Elizabeth Was Born abt 1831in Oxendon, Northamptonshire, her father was Ja mes Flint who was an Agricultural Labourer & later became a Shepherd. In 1 841 (census) Elizabeth is 10yrs old & living with her Parents in Oxendo n. Elizabeth's older sister Mary Married William Knight who was the Unc le of Thomas Deacon whom Elizabeth married on the 1st April 1861 in Walgra ve, aged 30yrs. Elizabeth lived with her husband & Children at their sma ll farm in Walgrave which by the 1871 Census had grown to 24acres, her Fat her who had been disabled was now living with the family. However things s eem to have taken a turn for the worse for the family as in 1881 (censu s) her husband is no longer farming but is a Coachman & Elizabeth is Laund ress. By 1891 Elizabeth is now taking care of her younger children, 10 yr old Nephew Harold Buckby and newly born grandson William. But in 19 00 the couple's Daughter Ella Dies aged 30yrs. In 1901(census) Thomas a nd Elizabeth are quite elderly now and living at living at Top Green, Wal grave. Their Daughter Martha is living with them, also living with them st ill is 19 year old Harold (Buckby), now called Harold Deacon who see ms to have been adopted by his Aunt & uncle. She died later that same ye ar (3b,74) in the fourth quarter aged 70.
