In 1851 (census) Amelia is 23, she has left home a nd is Working at Timberland in Linccolnshire for the Wheat family who li ve at the Vicarage she is a Nursery Nurse, Amelia Married later that sa me year to Edward Britten the Walgrave School Master. In 1861 Amel ia is 33yrs and living at the school house in Walgrave, with her Husban d, Mother & Children. She is a School Mistress. by 1881 Amelia now 53y rs is living in Walgrave with husband & Sons. Amelia's husband Died in 18 86 and in 1891 (census) she is 63yrs and living with her Son Philip who h as taken over his fathers place as Rate Collector, she is acting as his ho use keeper, another son Edward also lives there as does 7yrs old Edith Kni ght Daughter of Sarah Britten.
