Notes: Martha Knight was born on the 27th May 1809 she was the First Born Chi ld of Joseph & Elizabeth Knight. Martha was not Christened untill she w as 4yrs old, she was Christened on 30th April 1813 along side her brothe rs Thomas and Anthony and cousin also called Martha. On 28th March 1831 Ma rtha Married in Walgrave to local Farmer Thomas Deacon, she was 21yrs o ld the Wittnesses to her Wedding were her Brother Anthony Knight & Ann Kni ght. Four of their Children were Christened on the 16th October 1837 at Wa lgrave In the 1841 & 51 she is listed living with her husband and childr en at their Farm which in 1851 was 16 acres. Martha died in Walgrave in t he 18th May 1860 aged 50yrs, her husband followed her a year later.
